The Simple Life

We humans love to make life so complicated.  For some reason, Christians tend to be particularly good about making things complex, convoluted, and confusing.  Granted, there’s a lot of stuff to think about, and a lot of it we don’t get. But it doesn’t have to be so ridiculously knotty to “live a good Christian life”.

Here’s what God says (so even if you skimmed the above paragraph, read this one closely) :

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess. 5:16-18)

Life is simple. Will you join me on an uncomplicated walk?

  4. Hi Alex!
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment you left on my blog! It is nice to know that people actually read the ramblings that go on inside my head… This was such a great reminder and I love that verse–I think it will be this week’s verse to dwell on. Everything is right there in that one verse! 🙂 Hope you are doing well and having a simple week!

  5. Have simple trust. Be simple church. Show simple love.

    Live simple.
